Testimonials

I researched numerous web designers. I was absolutely right to go with Khanik. Their attention to detail and willingness to help/direct the evolution of the site was second to none. The work involved in setting up a website can be daunting. Khanik took away some of that pain and delivered on their promises. I am extremely happy.

Development Process

Our specially formulated methods streamline the web design and development process into four steps. From the initial research, to the eventual launch, this technique works to fulfill our client’s goals, right from the beginning.

Development Process
Research
The first step on the path to creating a successful web site is having a complete understanding of our client. A web site could be nearly perfect to one person’s point of view, but severely lacking to someone else. It’s your web site: it should be just what you want. We evaluate the wants and needs of our clients, making special consideration for their individual specifications, as well as those of their target audience. We also examine the competition, observing their approach and determining how they can be outdone. All that we learn during this process is used to create a solid basis for conceptualization.
Design
After we’ve gained a solid grasp of what our client requires, we begin work on the preliminary design. When creating this concept, we refer frequently to the information we’ve collected in the Research Phase, to ensure that the design fits what the client has asked for. We then take the concept, and create a visual representation of it, a sort of preview of what the eventual web site may look like. This visual model is then presented to the client for their consideration. Depending on their opinion — because, after all, the client’s opinion comes first— small revisions or major changes might be made to the design. Once the design has been polished and refined to perfection, and the client approves of the final concept, we can begin applying the design in the way it was intended: as a fully-functional web site.
Develop
Now that we have an acceptable design scheme, we can begin to integrate it with a system, such as a content management system— or CMS— or, if you’re planning an online store, an ecommerce engine. This process is what really makes the web site work. For example, if your site will be used to sell products online, an ecommerce engine will add the functions that allow your customers to make purchases. A content management system, meanwhile, puts the controls in your hands, while keeping everything organized and simple enough for anyone to handle.
Deploy
When construction is completed, everything is run through a final check, to ensure the efficiency of the web site, and that the project meets and exceeds our highest standards, as well as our client’s expectations. Menus and links have to lead to the correct destinations, graphics must be in the right places, and many other various things. The saying goes “whatever can go wrong, will”; this is the time for us to make sure it won’t. When everything has been cleared as fully operational, we finalize the deployment of the site.

Many of our projects end there, with a satisfied customer and a high-quality web site (and a non-drained budget). Some, though, continue to seek even greater efficiency and return on their investment. For them, the process repeats as necessary. Using statistical information collected about the site, we can analyse traffic and other details, and use them to improve the design and develop even better systems. If, for example, we find a certain customer group paying particular attention to your web site, we might be able to adjust the site to appeal to those customers. Keeping one’s web site up-to-date design wise can be of great benefit to a business, and we work to keep our clients at the greatest zenith of success.

The entire process generally takes somewhere from five to ten business days for Business and Business Plus packages.

Think of that: if you contact us today, you can have an amazing, fully-customized web site in just one business week!
