How long does it take to make a web site?

Depends on the type of web site. General web sites can be made within a few weeks, while highly customized ecommerce systems might take a few months.

Are there any additional costs associated with my web site?

We provide you with all services and systems you need to run your web site. However, you will need a web host to run your web site. This can be bought for a few dollars a month.

Do I have to pay all upfront?

Most likely, no. For projects under $700, we request that all payment be made up front. However, for projects over $700, we request 50% be made upfront and the remaining 50% paid when half of the web site is complete. For projects over $2500, we offer more payment options.

Can I bundle services and save?

Yes, and you can save tremendously. Depending on your needs, you may save thousands of dollars by bundling services.

Are you willing to incorporate our company's ideas with yours?

Yes and we highly encourage it. We believe the best web sites are made collaboratively by the client and the designer.

Where are you physically located?

We are physically located in the metro-Atlanta area but service the whole world.

What is the difference between "static" and "dynamic" web sites?

Static web sites are pure XHTML files that are merely linked to each other. Dynamic web sites store content in a database and retrieve this information when requested. Dynamic web sites are easier to maintain and easier to expand.

What do you mean by the term "open-source."

Open-source software is any software whose sourcecode is legally open to customization. Generally, most open-source software is free, but many must be bought.

For ecommerce web sites, can I accept credit card payments?

Yes, via a variety of payment gateways including PayPal and Google Checkout.

If I contact Khanik, will I have to start immediately?

Of course, not. You have the choice to start whenever you want.

What if I'm not satisfied with my web site?

Within a few days, you will recieve our initial design for your web site. If you do not like it, we will revise it to your specifications. Most projects have up to three revisions standard, so you can be sure you will enjoy your web site. However, if you're any reason you do not like it, you do not need to move forward with us and will only have paid the initial amount.
